I have to boot my computer at least twice each time I try to book up. When I have Norton's doctor to do a scan it gives me the message that I have an invalide tabell in my boot record and that it cannot repair it. I saw an answer on line that this problem could be corrected with "fdisk/mbr" How exactly do I do that?

Check your boot disk to see if it has fdisk on it
(some do some don't and I don't know what OS you have)if not copy it over to the boot disk.(do find from the start menu Win9x)For Dos versions etc. it's in the Dos directory (copy c:\dos\fdisk.exe a:) then start from the boot disk and type fdisk /mbr (dont forget the space in the middle....)
