I have a workstation without a cd rom.and without windows i would like to boot to dos with network support so i can use shared resources can u tell me where i can download a bootable dis for this.

If you look at either the NetWare CDs (or floppy disks) they have DOS client stuff. You can get a NetWare VLM requestor client including the network card driver all on a DOS boot disk.
You could also try the novell web site and download DOS client stuff.
