Comment: Hi! all, We are using a DOS based application on Novell 3.12 network. We have been printing from 98/95 systems from this DOS based application onto a network printer with no problems. Lately we started upgrading all our systems to 2000 and in the process we found out that we were not able to print to network printer from the same DOS based application in the beginning. Then I came across "net use..." command but it doesnt really work. The detailed explaination follows.. After capturing to LPT1 succesfully and when I try to print from this DOS based app. I get this error message "Bad command or filename" twice before printing to the network printer. It prints but only a part of the printout. If the printout consists of 2 pages it prints the first page and stops and when I try to print the same printout second time. The second page of the first printout prints along with the first page of the second printout which starts at the middle of the page and stops. Its as though the second page is in the memory or smth and waiting for a send button. Hope you understood the scenario :) Also after sucesfully capturing to either LPT2 or LPT3 and try to print it wont print at all and the application stops responding. But if I print from 98 or 95 no problems. Seems like a weird problem. Any suggestions? Thanx a lot. Cyrus.

Reply: (edit)What is the Novell Client you are using. This is on 2000 workstations correct? I think it is due to the client your are running on the workstation.
