Backing up My Documents in DOS hlp

Windows won't load and I want to back up my pictures in the My Documents folder through DOS. I have searched here for the solution but can't find anything. I need the DOS commands to do this and also the DOS commands to view my My Documents folder. Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW: You should also note about the Long File Names (LFN) in the My Documents folder.
