Hi all guy´s. I want to do some modification to the config.sys or autoexec.bat to activate the "insert mode" at the command prompt. I am very bad when writting quickly, and sometimes I push lots of buttons simultaneously, and I need to retype very times a line. In these way, I can correct it whitout retype the entire line.
Very Thanks.

If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.

You need to insert in autoexec.bat the TSR DOSkey.exe with the following command line

doskey /OVERSTRIKE or /INSERT

acording your preference in correcting the input line. Then you can recall the previous inserted line by using thes arrows keys too.

After you loaded the command, typedoskey /? to get a quick help.
