Hi,
I am trying to boot a program directly on startup, I already boot directly to dos.
In the old days I am sure it was simply a matter of adding the path and the exe or bat file to the autoexec.bat. Is this the case?
And do I simply ad it at the end?
NB. I am trying to load mpxplay and mpxf along with some networking function without having to do a thing but turn on the computer.
Can someone please help me...its been a long time since ive played around in dos.

you dont ad it to autoexec.bat you ad it config.sys type in "edit config.sys"
then in the then type the file in IE: "DEVICE=C:\game.exe"

You load device drivers in the config.sys and/or autoexec.bat and programs to run at startup in the autoexec.bat.Add a line for each program at the end of autoexec.bat. c:\mxp\mxplay c:\mxp\mpxf Correct for your path and run a test. Good luck.
