Don't know if this is what your looking for but may I recommend the following Web site. http://digilander.libero.it/pnavato/drivers/ This would be a good starting point as you can ID your drive using a little proggie called Atainf it will ID your CD Rom / HD etc so you can get the right driver for it or you can use his recommended CD Rom ATAPI generic driver APICD214.ZIP this is made by ACER and is only 5k works with everything I have thrown at it as long as it is ATAPI compliant.
Now if this all fails try http://www.driverguide.com/indexddc.htm this is a much larger community to help you track down your driver now you do have to join but it is FREE as a last resort and if you are desperate try http://www.windrivers.com/ now this is a pay site :-( but if there is no other hope try these folks.
