Arachne and dsl

Hello, I have searched past messages and was unable to find an answer to my question. So here it goes.... I have an intel pci pro/100+ adapter and a cisco 678 modem that came w/ my dsl setup. I'm a very bored man so I thought maybe I would play around w/ arachne. However, I have not been sucessful setting up arachne to work. I have downloaded the dos drivers for the adapter, but arachne is unable to locate the pci device. Will arachne work with my setup? Thank you for any help you can give. btw...i am starting my computer in ms-dos mode if that makes a diff.

The only suggestion I can offer is to be sure you are loading the PACKET driver and not any other DOS driver such as MS Lan Manager. If you able to get an IP address using the network card's packet driver, then you will be able to get online with it.
