I had the same problem about 2 months ago. I called AOL and told them my problem. They said they don't have dos support anymore. You cant put dos version on your PC even if you have the original disk. It wontwork. I reccomend going to powerload.com and downloading the windows 3.1 disk set it may work.

I also tried to connect through AOL for DOS. I tried sending a series of messages asking basically everywhere if someone knew how to fix this problem. I got responses saying that "AOL won't support this anymore due to the new graphics, web browser, new keywords, etc. I found a website where you can download AOL for DOS, but it only has some of the versions, but I found a few interesting versions I really never heard about before. The website is: http://www.aol-files.com. I was also thinking that someone could make a patch, or add-on to AOL for DOS to let you connect, becuase I also, have an old 386DX-25mhz. It only has DOS 5.0 on it and barely has enough memory to play some games that run under DOS, and even they are from th 1980's! So, I hope that this information would have helped anyone.
