Ok, I have an ALi Audio Accelerator WDM Driver, detected as an ALi M5451 (supposedly emulates legacy although not an option in BIOS) and I used to have windows ME but it crashed and made the LAPTOP this is running on a DOS based computer (IBM Thinkpad i series 1300) and through several attempt and tries I could not emulate sound blaster or any sound card for that matter under pure DOS. If you were to look up my sound card you would see there is several contradictory DOS emulation statements which is why I'm wondering if anyone here knows if I could get the straight answer of whether it worked in pure DOS or not.
