Hi! I need help putting a bunch of parts together! I already knew how to put a computer together, but this is the first time that I will put one together. I need some advice on how I should perform the "surgery" on my computer.
Also... would anyone have the driver disks for a NI6NLA mainboard and/or the audio software diskettes. there should be 7 in all.
Thanks for reading!

It depends on what parts you have. You should make sure that the parts all fit
together, and that they work together. If you plan to install dos, then you will need ALL the drivers for EVERY part that will need them. ex. sound card, video card, cd rom, SCSI, DOS printer, mouse, etc., etc.
If you install Win 3.xx you should try to load it. If you get the hourglass to appear, you are off to a good start. You should look for the drivers in the control panel for basic things like video, mouse, and printer. Things like sound and modems will probably need installation disks.
If you install Win95, you should try to boot to win95 and see if the hourglass appears as win 3.xx above. Win 95 has a large database of files for most products made before win 95. Look in the control panel's add new hardware for your files, if they are not there, you will need the install disks.
For Win 98, you will probably not need any install disks for your hardware because of the mega amount of drivers. Sorry if this did not help you any.
