Hey

I have put together an old computer, and it seems to given me some trouble. Wenn i turn it on, then at the POST screen, a grey box pops up to ask for my password, can i get trough this password somehow.

I think i use win 95 or 98.

Kind regards

Hey,

You're asking a hardware question in a DOS forum, saying you're using 9x and list your OS as XP.

SHEESH

Get the make and model of your mobo and search for the diagram which shows the BIOS clear jumper.

Yeah - it kind of amazes me when someone claims to have built a machine, but have no idea what OS or how much RAM they have.

You're not even booting to an OS - what has any of this to do with DOS?
