Is there a was in dos to find the CHS adress that a file is useing? I want to see where a file is on a HD an if it is fragmented

Hi,

You can find this information in the directory. There DOS stores the starting cluster of a file and its length. Then you need to trace file in the FAT starting with this cluster. If you need more information e-mail me, because it's too complicated to be post in the forum.
