Accessing Network Computers

OS: Windows 98 SE
CPU/Ram: Athlon 1.1Ghz/ 500mb Sdra
Comment:

I want to be able to access another network computer using a IP address. Is this possible?
I've tried simple things such as:

cd 192.***.***.***
dir 192.***.***.***
cd 192.***.***.***\\C:\
and so on, but non of them work. Would appreicate any help.Thanks in advance.

In MSDOS box type NET and press enter for parameters!

Maybe try the NETWORKING FORUM ??
