Comment:

I have trouble accessing directories from DOS on my burnt cd's . When I write DIR, I get all the directories listed. But when I try to change to the directory by 'cd dir_name' on the command prompt I get the message 'unknown directory'. The same cd works fine on windows. Can anyone help me?

It could be one of two things.

1) Your drive is not supported in DOS
2) When you burn the CD's, make sure that you finalize the session or the disk

Choose the make a cd most compatible with other computers option when burning the disk. If you choose drag and drop, windows will be able to access it, but dos will not.
