Is there a program, somewhere, who permit access (read-write) to a CDRW device (here, a yamaha CDRW4416)?

I went to www.bootdisk.com and while I liked the site and they were of help in accessing a cd-rom I couldn't find any help in burning a cd with a cd-rw in dos (or 3.1). Can anyone help?
