Is it possible to use 2 I/O card on 386SX motherboard?....There is only one IDE port available which i've already used it to connect 2HDDs (slave and master)..I want to connect CD-ROM too, but there is no IDE slot left....can I use add more I/O card for the CD-ROM connection

surely you can use dual channel ide controller card that is coming with 486 systems in your 386 motherboard. and you have to disable your onboard controller in bios.

Hi,
Yes, but if your MB has only 16 bit slots and no PCI, the challenge will be to find a 16 bit IDE controller card.
