Okay my school gave me an extra hard drive and iam not sure what they had on it but thats not whats wrong, i hooked it up so that IDE1 connects to my original Hard drive and then it connects to the one my school gave me, i also put the original HD as the master and the other one as a slave. *CRYS* i put it allll together and started it up and told me Cant Find The Operating System. WHATS WRONG!??!?! any help would be nice
Double check your jumpers. Make sure your master is really set as master, etc. Try each drive by themselves to see if they work alone. They could be incompatible.

Boot with a floppy. Check which drive is C:. It is probably your "slave" drive with no operating system on it. If this is not the case, there is probably some problem with detection in the BIOS if your jumpers are right.
