I already have SP 2 installed on my computer and when I go to Microsoft web site to download Windows Movie Maker it says I have to download SP2...what a bunch of crap. If I reload it I will have to do all of the updates and patches all over again. I don't understand why their hot shot software that checks to see what you have on your computer does not find that I already have SP2 loaded and running. Anyone know how to download it and get the proper version? TIA

Are you sure you haven't already got Movie Maker on your PC?? Go into My Computer, Local Disk C, Program Files and check! If it's there, click on it to open it.

If you have SP2 then you already have Moviemaker 2.1 installed on your system.
