Windows Movie Maker Capture Problems

When I press Start Capture, the time frame doesn't start til a few seconds later. When i stop the capture and it loads to windows movie maker, the LENGTH of the video is exactly how long i pressed start capture and then pressed stop capture. But the actual displayed video plays at 1.5x the speed and since its fast, the displayed video stops a few seconds before the "video length" is done. Oh, but the sounds is correct! So this throw off the sound and video even if i slow down the video. it's confusing
