Hello All, two questions: I have windows pro media centre edition.

I have searched my computer and cannot locate Windows Movie Maker 2, where exactly is it, and what do i look for to open it???

Also, i am not too well off,(in the future might look at a paid for one) and i am looking for a good Video program to use thats free. Not too clever with video, but got my Daughters wedding coming soon.
I have a DV Camcorder which i use.

Thanks for any replies, GEP

On regular XP it's in the Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Movie Maker
or
"C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe"

One big drawback of WMM is that it only produces WMV files. At least when I tried it a year or two ago, that was the case.

Check into Virtualdub. It 'might' do what you want.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

just go to the windows update site and you can download movie maker. That should work for you. Also, you should have a movie program that came bundled with your pc or dvd writer.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
