Solved Why Won't My TV Recognize New Memory Stick?

Specs: Windows 10
I had an old 16 gb memory stick that the kids broke, so I got a new 32 gb one that I thought would be good since it would store more on it. But my TV won't recognize it. It recognized the 16 gb one no problem. Both are formatted to Fat32. My only guess is that my TV won't recognize anything over 16 gb. It doesn't recognize my 1 tb hard drive either. If I remember correctly it tried, but failed. This one doesn't even try. The stick flashes blue, so it is being powered by the TV, but the TV doesn't not return in kind. Any help?

✔ Best Answer
All TV's and other devices have a maximum size of USB drive they support, and that limit is often much lower than for a computer. My TV has a specified maximum size of 16 GB. Consult the documentation for your TV. Most likely the limit is 16 GB and you must use a device that size or smaller.
