Why do my digital camera pictures have too much red?

Specs: Windows 7
I am getting to much red in my photo and do not know how to adjust the color settings I do not know if i have a program that will correct the problem on my computer or if there is an adjustment on the camera

Some more information from you might help pholks here to advise you...

Make/model of camera.

Make/model of your computer and details of any software you have installed to do with photo/image processing.

Most standard cameras arrive with a default setting that "sometimes" can be changed... It depends the camera - the level of technology it has built in.

There is add-in software that allows a user to "tweak" (alter/correct colour rendition of an image/photo once the software is installed onto a computer. These packages vary a lot. Some inkjet/bubblejet printer software packages also include a basic option to that end... The Canon Pixma being one - albeit with a limited - but nonetheless useful range.

Gimp is one of many free programs that can do this afterwards. However, if many/most photos are have a red bias it points to an issue with the camera, which mostly does not appear to be a camera facility that is provided. The make and model number of your camera will (hopefully) allow us to check this out.
