I have a picture of a van and I would like to make the background just white, I am using Fireworks MX, what's the easiest way to do this please?

I don't use Fireworks, but in most image editing programs, one option is to use the 'Lasso' tool to outline the van, 'invert' the selection, and 'fill' with white.
