whats wrongwith the WMP?

everytime i play video on windows media player, the Dial-Up Connection pops up. when i close the WMP, it close that as well. whats going on? what does the WMP try to connect to? its a WMP 10.

i mean every time i open the WMP, i dont even play music or video.

Try this: Go to IE > tools > Internet Options > Connections and select 'never dial a connection'.
