I've tranferred some photos (jpeg) files to a DVD +RW disc. I am able to view all of the photos on the DVD except for one folder. If I look at properties the files look ok - that is, correct names and size but they just won't open with any viewer. I desperately need these photos back.

What file designation are they? .BMP, JPEG, TIF, etc?

Oops, sorry, should not have read so quick; they are jpeg, right? Have you tried opening them in a bitmap editor such as Paint Shop Pro or another instead of just a viewer?

Open up the folder, choose one of the files and Right click once on it / Properties. What does it say about the file?

Sounds like they may have become corrupt in the transfer process.
