Hi, I'm using Virtual Dub to capture video using my capture card because I have yet to find anything better that doesn't take up way too many resources. But I want to be able to encode the video as WMV9.. is this possible? I have all the Windows Media Codec stuff installed but the WMV9 compression doesn't show up in the VDub menu.

Cause it forces me to encode right after I capture, which takes up time I need at that certain point.

what codec is used during capture? An uncompressed avi codec like huffyview will work, win movie maker should handle after capture of file is complete using Vdub. Warning, huffy and other raw codecs make very large files.
