i've just recently reformatted my computer, and everything works perfectly except for video playback. the video is almost completely black. i did some looking around, and it looks like the nero video decoder could be the culprit. it sets contrast, brightness and saturation at 0. i've set them to normal, but on the next playback it will revert back to the original black screen. does anyone know of any codec that i can use to replace this one?
i currently have divx, xvid, matroska and real alternative installed.
