hi all.im using ads capturewizard vers 3.7.06 to copy vhs/dvds to dvd on my pc.having problems with the audio/video sync.every 3rd or 4th home movie i copy the mouths open and the words are 1-2 seconds behind!tried different media dvd+r,dvd-r.pc is kept up to date defrag/error checking wise.any sugestions would be GREATLY appriciated

Which format are you recording with (AVI, MPEG, etc)?

Is this happening with the original recording, or after editing?

If you are recording to MPEG2, try MPEG1. I had a lot of trouble with audio/video sync problems with MPEG2 and switching to MPEG1 cured them.


Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

capture wizard is defaulted to mpeg-2.This happens during direct to disc recording.I will try mpeg-1.thanks
