I have a Panasonic MiniDV camcorder and need to transfer my video's to my hard drive, then edit to DVD's. Can you walk me through how to do this?

you will need some sort of video capture card to import the vids from your cam to your PC. If the cam uses a firewire port you will need a card for that on your PC. If your cam has RCA outs, you will need a capture card that also has that.
I have a pinnacle pci capture card that does both.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
