Reply: (edit)If you are going to try to do anything with video, definately get more ram at least 512. For analog video you will need a converter. I use a Hauppauge pci tuner/converter card and it has worked flawlessly. It also allows you to view and record TV on your computer.

Reply: (edit)If you have one,you can record the analog signal through a tv tuner card and convert the file to digital clips with Pinnacle. Abit IC7-G P4 3.0 800fsb northwood @ 3.6 dual dr400 corsair
