Help. Don't know that much about computers... I have a new (6 mos) Toshiba satellite A505 laptop and 90% of the time when I watch a video, (but movie trailers fare better), my computer freezes up every 2-3 seconds. So on average, it takes about 10 minutes to watch a 2 minute video! I run full scans daily to get rid of all cookies as well.

I have Webroot AntiVirus w/Spy Sweeper..thanx

Your laptop looks good for specs. What are you watching? Is it online only? What if you download a video or watch a DVD on your laptop? What's your internet connection? If you pause a video on YouTube for about 10 seconds and press Play, does it still freeze? What's your blood type? What are you wearing..sorry, got carried away.

Are you sure it's freezing or is it just buffering the movie? Are you waiting until the whole movie downloads before you watch it? How fast is your Internet connection?

Yup. Can watch a DVD w/o any interruptions, works fine. YouTube... if I pause for 10 sec as you suggested, it'll resume and then freeze again... some videos, as in from CBS, Morning Show, CNN, etc. will freeze more and more often, like pausing every single second... It's not like I've got my PC all jammed up... have 415 GB free space... and get rid of all cookies and do full scans daily! My internet connection is Verizon Wireless (VZ Access 14) : (

Sorry but fuzzy on this one, where do I find that info? Toldja I'm no computer genius. And since geekdom is not in my domain, I need a clue for this, plz...

I have a plug-in air card and my service for my laptop is provided by VZ wireless and combined for my Droid AND my laptop, unlimited airtime (and it ain't cheap!)... I digress... do you want the IP address?

On digging around, I found this:
Internet protocal Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) under Verizon Access "Properties" menu...

Does that help?
