I recently removed Kodak easyshare from my computer due to it hogging memory and bought an external hardrive to store all my video and picture files. Now everytime I try to watch a video the computer throws a "please insert sd card" alert that you cant close or click ok. It just wont go away. Can anyone help?

Sounds like not all of the program was removed. Try using a registry cleaner like regseeker(free) to clean out the remains. But always backup the changes.
Also check the program files and remove those as well, if any are still there.

In addition to the good advice given by rhawk7938, you might also want to check your file associations, to make sure Easyshare isn't being called upon to open these files.

Open "My Computer", click "Tools" > "Folder Options". Click the "File Types" tab, scroll down to find the appropriate file extension. If needed, change the program used to open this file type.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

I find that regcleaner is real user friendly:

You may also want to try regscrub:

to safely clean out your registry.
Good Luck

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
