Is there software that will allow me to view input from my capture card without all the overhead that comes with Capture Software. I just want to be able to play a VHS tape in an adjustable window, that's it, that's all. No bells and whistles, just a display. I found such a software called BTV but it is strictly for Macs.

I am in the UK and found that taking the output from the SCART on a Freeview Box could view the output on my PC by using a USB capture device in-between, not much overhead:
