hi

im trying to capture a video feed from a vhs player to pc for backup to dvd
hardware= video capture usb dongle
video mate c200, with S video cable feed works ok and can capture stills no problem using Ulead VideoStudio 11 SE (bundled)

however when i try to capture the feed an error always pops up
"Cannot start the capture graph"

i have downloaded the corel x2 video studio demo

that does the same, ive searched the net seems this is a common problem has anyone got
alternative software suggestion that worked passed this issue?

any ideas?

thanks

hi

i should have realised , ulead have been bought out by corel and all the subsequent releases dont include the magic word ' vista' in the supported OS's (except x2 which i just cannot get to work :(

A reinstall of xp and ulead 11 se dvd works fine with digi cameras on usb, ver 9 seems to anticipate your using firewire , which im not but doesnt tell you and 10 ,well i gave up.

fun n games.
