I am having trouble with my kodak cx7530. i have loaded all the software. when I plug the usb cable into the camera, I get this message on the camera screen, 'only one USB conection allowed, disconect cable or remove from dock' I do not have a dock for the camera and the only cable I have is the one conected. is this a problem with the camera? and if so, is it repairable?

maybe go through your manual, there must be a way set the usb to be used directly. It looks like a setting is set making it think that the dock is being used OR
Try this: uninstall the complete Kodak software that came with the camera. Install Picasa 2, it is totally free: http://picasa.google.com/download/ Then plug in your camera and Xp should recognize it and ask you where to send the pics....choose Picasa. Picasa is a real nice photo program and real easy to use.

that didn't work either I still get the same message and my computer won't recognise that the camera is even attached. it must be something wrong with the camera. I think I'm going to have to call Kodak. thanks anyway though!
