This all started when I made the mistake of BELIEVING that Dell was a real company and not an international conglomerate without service or responsibility of any kind, turns out their repair people in Tn. were actually a sub-contractor (Flextronics) that only follows their system. Too bad they had just changed to a new sub-contractor in Houston. MY inspiron went to their graveyard to be destroyed for parts in Nashville . Obviously, it took months to find this all out. I have this data on more than one disk. Now I think I will sue Dell for the computer AND their faulty software. I'm sure their lawyers can find some tech-y to un-corrupt my data !!!
