I will like to know in which form it would be best for me in regard to obtaining the best video and audio quality if i transfer my old vhs videos directly to my computer memory or transfer my old vhs videos directly to dvd. In this case i have a Go Video Vhs to Dvd Video Recorder. I would preferr a non compress video signal in my new dvd. Thanks Eddy

DVDs are compressed video. You want to record the video as an mpg2 format which is the standard for DVDs.
