Taking snapshots from media players

Is it possible to take pictures from a media player? As in when I pause a video and I want to take a picture of whats shown the media player.

You can take a screen shot and do it that way.
If it's compatable with Movie Maker, open it and import the video. At the bottom of the preview window there is a camera icon. It will take a still picture when you click it and saves as a jpg.

The 'Print Screen' keyboard key saves the current monitor screen. You can then paste it in a graphics program like Paint.
Alt+'Print Screen' saves just the currently active window instead of the whole screen.

Tha is not nescessarily true, if I have a movie loaded in windows media player 9 and pause the movie and hit "print screen" button and paste the image of the clipboard to a picture program everything is there exect the video image, it's just a black box where the video should be.
