iv just hooked it up to the tv using an svidoe to scart. Iv went into control panel, display and settings. I can get whatever is on my screen on the tv but when i go to the number 2 i just get my desktop background with no icons and cant get a video to play. any ideas how to play media on screen 2 and use screen 1 to surf the net?
also the picture isnt that great but not as bad when i put medai to full screen, any ideas?

first off, you will never have great picture do to the fact that you computer has to convert like 800+ lines of resolution that your vga uses and smash them all together to like 480 that s-video uses.
To get your icons and desktop to show u on the other screen you must swich you primary display. You must make the second screen become screen 1. Id depends on the config of your computer, but most likly you need to right click your desktop and hit properties...then click the settings tab. if you click on the screen 2, ther should be an option to make it your primary display. Your primary display will show video and have your icons
