Sub to Srt

As the subject implies, I ought to convert .sub subtitles to .srt format.
I've tried looking for a software, but as I'm writing here, you can figure out the result weren't quite sucessful.
In case there isn't a program wholly devoted for this 'task', then please recommend me other softwares with this option (.sub to .srt) included in it.

I'm not quite sure I'm following you up there mate...
I'm converting Divx movies to DVD's with a 'subtitle channel'. .sub and .srt, these two formats are subtitle files.. The program I'm working with (VSO's DivxtoDVD) just doesn't support .sub format, only .SRT

Ok, nevermind. I downloaded Subtitles Workshop, by using it I can edit the subtitle and save it as any format I'd like to..
SRT -> SubRip
