I have a DVD that has a very visible and stubborn fingerprint on it. It's on the edge of the disc. First i tried just a microfiber cloat - no joy. Then slighty damped microfiber - no joy. After that i tried a non-alcohol, moist screen cleaning wipe - no joy. Last i tried microfiber with mild soapwater, but still no joy.

Now i'm thinking of buying isopropyl alcohol from a drugstore. Is it safe to use on DVD's? No i need to dilute it?

I don't know if that fingerprint will cause any playback problems, because i haven't watched the movie yet. But it's just kinda nasty fingerprint, and i want to get rid of it.

Hmmm, even that isopropyl alcohol was not able to remove it. Well, i guess as long as that disc will play properly, it's ok.
