Hi folks,
I got the scratched DVD movie that I can’t watch, so I downloaded the free trial version of software to copy it in my pc hard drive, but it was not copying totally to hard drive by popping up the message, “ too many scratch errors, use pro edition”.
But I am looking for freeware that can copy and recover the full DVD movie from the scratched disc to hard drive.
Do you guys know any free software that can help me to recover the movie from the scratched disc?

hi folks what is new!

So in other words you're asking for a blind man to be able to read a regular book.

Look... if the disk is physically damaged to the point where the laser can't read the info on the disk, then the best you're going to get is the info that the laser CAN read.

This being the case, you will NOT get a complete disk. It is up to you to take what information that can be recovered and REBUILD a new disk.

A scratch IS physical damage. If you can see it, feel it, touch it...etc then it is physical.

Yes... the recover SKIPS what it can not read and therefore you end up with an incomplete disk.

Things like cassette tape can have lost information but still play. DVD's are not like that. If some of the information is missing then more often than not it effects the playback of the ENTIRE disk.

A cassette tape blindly gets pulled over the heads reading information that is there. If there is none then the tape continues to get pulled until information is found.

DVD players on the other hand LOOK AHEAD for certain pieces of info. If that info is not there then the dvd player doesn't know what to do next.
