Hi
I had a bit of malaware recently. I have removed it all and fixed the problems it caused.
I was able to edit and make dvd's before the malaware but now Sony Vegas won't recognise any files.
I have a previous project saved and when I try to open it, it tells me that there was an error opening the media file (which have not been moved or renamed since I started the project) and to suggest a replacement. I do that - for the whole project and then at the end it says an error occurred when loading the project file - the requested plug-in does not have the necessary features unlocked. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Vegas. My malaware problems affected my sound by making registry keys hidden from my user. Does anyone think this might be a problem here - and what registry keys would I need to change the permissions on?
I had previously been able to burn this project.
I have even tried to start a new project and it won't let me import any files in any format.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
