Please what means suffix E in this sony's model?

E like Europe, PAL system?

If does, how come that in our stores sells models without E sufix.

Thanx.

Yes, the E usually stands for a PAL system.

There are many PAL system sold in North America and likewise with NTSC on the other side. Newer playback systems are pretty much universal so they can play back both formats. As a result, today we see more ntsc devices being sold in Europe and likewise with pal. There is no longer any real border drawn between the 2.
