Hello,
I am a photographer looking to transfer some of my hi resolution photographs into a slideshow video. I tried using the software that came with my computer (Windows Moviemaker)which seemed to be working great until I "published" the file so that it could be played outside of that program and then my resolution went from 2100 x 2800 pixels to 480 x 640 and my image quality was awful! I am wondering whether there is any program out there that will allow me to create a slideshow video file at my original resolution. I know it will be a large file. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check out Irfanview (free). I'm pretty sure that it'll retain full resolution in it's Slide Show feature.

If you're willing to pay, there are several other good apps that will do this. Photoshop and ACDSee Pro are two that come to mind.

Don't squat with your spurs on!
