I want to make a slideshow with sound/music and then burn that to DVD to be played on the TV.

The free stuff I have found have limits to how many pictures and generally were unimpressive.

Recommendations please.

You can use Photo Story 3 (free from M$), it will hold 300 pics in a session and also allow you to add music to it.
I then use Showbiz2 which came bundled with one of my HP DVD burners. There you can add as many clips from Photostory as you like to fill a DVD.
The moving slideshows are Exceptional....I offer them with the wedding photography I do.
Hope that helps

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
