Hi,

Where is the option to shrink the output files from DVD Decrypter to make them fit on a 4.7 GB disc. The file it put out was 7+GB

Also another question, This 7+GB file is useless to me as I do not own a DL disc, but have the burner. Anyway how do I shrink this file with or without dvd decrypter?

Google for DVD Shrink, it will reduce the file size to fit on a single layer DVD.

I second that - DVDShrink will do what you need. You can find a tutorial and download it at Doom9.org.

DVDDecrypter does not have an option to recompress the file.

There is two separate questions in the above, if I cannot resize my already formed 7+GB file, how do I make dvd decrypter act like dvd shrink, and only output a 4.7 gig file.

Or is there no option for this? I do use dvd shrink already, I also use k9copy, dvdshrink, and other various backup programs under linux.

Your question has been answered. DVD Decrypter will not do it, DVD Shrink will.
