You should send the picture as an attachment. However, many email services have a limit on the size of the attachment (typically 1 MB) or the total size of your email box.

"Am trying to put a picture to send via email"

If wizard-fred's response does not help you then do re-write your sentence above to include what you are doing. It appears that the middle part of your sentence is missing.

Also, what email program are you using to try and send the email with?

Thank you wizard-fred and Bryan for your help.
I am trying to put one picture in an email. I can attach pictures and send them that way. I have always done this until I got a new computer, it is an Emachine. I have dial-up CompuServe that is my email service that they provide, it is very much like AOL. When I try to put the picture IN my email a message comes up that CompuServe had encountered a problem and must close, I am knocked off line pronto.
If this is not something that can ever be resolved for some reason, I will have to do attachments. Thanks for any further help you can give me. *_* KayKay

Just a suggestion...why not open a free account with yahoo, with this you can add pics or add attachments and also you won't have to change e-mail addresses each time you change servers. It becomes a generic account that u can use with any ISP. When I was on AOL trial for 1 yr I NEVER used their mail services for that reason, as I knew that as soon as the trial expired I would get a different server.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
