i've recently just got the kodak c743 and purchased a 1gb kodak SD card, but now the card won't let me view, upload or take any new pictures, saying that it needs to be formatted. i really don't want to do this considering that pictures from my 18th birthday and graduation are on the memory card - is there any way of retrieving the pictures? i've tried various downloadable programmes from the net, but my laptop doesn't recognise the camera as a removable drive so no such luck.
can anyone please help cos i really don't want to lose the pictures.
